The core of this practice is learning to use your own breath as an "anchor." Think of your mind as a boat on a busy sea of thoughts, feelings, and external distractions. Your breath is the anchor that you can drop at any moment to hold you steady and keep you from being carried away by the currents.

The session is structured to build your skill progressively. We begin with a short, ten-minute practice to gently guide your awareness to the breath, allowing you to settle in. We then explore the simple science of why this practice is so effective, before moving into the main twenty-minute guided meditation. Here, you will actively practice using the breath as an anchor, learning the vital skill of noticing when your mind has wandered and gently, without judgment, guiding it back.
