Practice Notes

1. Your Daily Email
Each day you'll receive one email from us which will help you learn about the benefits of meditation. Makesure you read them to get the most of your experience.
 

  • Day 1 explains how your brain responds beneficially to meditation

  • Day 2 explains how meditation helps to improve your focus

  • Day 3 explains how meditation helps you to become more resilient

  • Day 4 explains how meditation can help with creativity & innovation

  • Day 5 explains the benefits of a consistent meditation practice

2. Meditation Posture:
There is no need to sit in a particular posture. Simply find a comfortable space where you can sit with your back straight so as to be comfortable yet alert. If you'd prefer to lay down or try a more traditional cross-legged posture then that is fine. Just find what is comfortable for you. Rest you hands gently in your lap, or by your side if laying.

3. Breathing:
Keep your breathing natural, as you would normally breathe. There is no need to adopt a particular breathing technique, and you can breathe through your nose or your mouth. Again, do what feels most comfortable to you.

4. Timing:
You can practice your meditation at any time of day. What's important is that you make your best effort to do it each day for the next 5 days to experience the benefits of the meditation. You may wish to set yourself a reminder in your calendar.
